Basic Educational Alliance Agreement
- Combine existing EA agreement with existing Letter of Understanding and Non-Disclosure
- $8K annual membership fee
- SAP Standard Training provided on an as-needed basis and contingent upon SAP's approval of written curriculum plan and training requirements proposal
- Two mutually exclusive options for members to consider are
- Option 1: SAP will supply University 1 copy of R/3 software plus up to 3 mySAP.com components. SAP will provide University, on two occasions, with installation consultant for up to a combined total of 8 days.
- Option 2: University may access the SAP solutions from a qualified University Competency Center (UCC).
The UCC Host will provide the University Client:
- R/3 or mySAP.com Clients
- UCC Host will make available to Client University 5 R/3 clients during three periods per year (Spring, Summer, Fall). [The UCC and SAP will mutually agree if, when, and for how long any major system shut downs for critical maintenance activity (e.g., system upgrades) will occur.]
- Client refreshes may be negotiated between UCC and University. [The UCC and SAP will mutually agree upon the use of Client refreshes during the regular semester to support client school activities.]
- For each 400 R/3 client request, UCC Host will make available 20 user accounts.
- For each 800 R/3 client request, UCC Host will make available 50 user accounts.
- UCC Host provides support during Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.
Additional Services Provided by UCC Host to University Client
- Additional R/3 Clients
- UCC provides support for 1 additional R/3 Client.
- Client University agrees to pay the UCC a fee of $1,000.
- Large (lecture) Clients
- UCC Host provides support for 51 to 500 students in a 800 R/3 Client.
- Client University agrees to pay the UCC Host a fee of $1,000.
- Faculty Specific Services
- UCC provides one client for limited faculty use only
- Client University agrees to pay the UCC Host a negotiated fee
